Use Roome Land Surveying in your AI assistant

What it can do

• Find the right survey (which_survey): Describe your situation, such as buying a house or putting up a fence, and it suggests the surveys that fit best.
• List our services (list_services): Every survey we offer, with a link to its page.
• Check the service area (service_area): Whether we serve a Texas county or city.
• What to expect (what_to_expect): How quotes work, how long a survey usually takes, the survey day, paying, and what you receive for each survey.
• Contact details and hours (contact_details): Our phone number, office hours, addresses, and which email to use.
• Request a survey quote (request_quote): Sends us your quote request. It reaches us only after you confirm it from the email we send you.

Its answers come from this website, so they stay current as we update it.

Add it to your assistant

The connector’s address:

Claude

1. Go to Customize > Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
2. Enter a name, such as Roome Land Surveying, and the address above. If it asks how to sign in, choose No sign-in.
3. Select Add.
4. In a chat, select +, then Connectors, and turn on Roome Land Surveying.

This works on the Free, Pro, Max and Ultra plans; the Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings > Connectors, and members then connect to it from Customize > Connectors.

ChatGPT

1. On the Plugins page, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
2. Enter a name, such as Roome Land Surveying, and the address above, with no authentication.
3. Review the warning, continue, and select Create as a plugin.
4. Install the plugin, start a new conversation, type @ and choose it.

Your account or workspace settings decide whether you can add one.

What happens when you request a quote

1. The assistant sends us your name, email address, phone number, the property’s address and what the survey is for. Properties in Texas only.
2. We email you a link to confirm the request. Nothing reaches our office until you press Confirm. The link expires after two days.
3. Once you confirm, your request reaches our quotes team, and we work to respond as soon as possible. Quotes are free.

We receive only the request, not your conversation with the assistant. Our Privacy Policy (section 2.4) explains what we keep.

If something goes wrong

• No confirmation email: check your spam or junk folder. If it isn’t there, check the email address you gave the assistant and try again.
• “Nothing was sent. Please fix these”: a detail needs correcting, such as a 10-digit phone number or a full street address. Give the assistant the right detail and ask it to try again.
• The address isn’t found: give the house number, the street and the city or ZIP. For land without a street address, use our quote form and mark the property on its map.
• A property outside Texas: we survey in Texas only. Our service area lists the counties we serve.
• Two confirmation emails already sent today: each email address gets at most two a day. Confirm one of those, or try again tomorrow.
• A daily limit is reached, or requests aren’t available: use our quote form or call us.
• The assistant can’t reach the connector: check that the address is exactly https://www.roomeinc.com/mcp, and that the connector is turned on for the chat.
